Callahan Properties Donates to Stride & Glide 2024

Callahan Properties presented a cheque for $5000 to the KGH Foundation as the title sponsor for the Stride and Glide for Cardiac Care.

Stride and Glide 2024 and will be held on Feb 10th, 2024.

"Funds raised this year will be put towards an Intra-aortic Balloon Pump that is required to support Cardiac patients who have a depressed or failing heart function, or to support higher-risk cardiac procedures."

Three Stride and Glide committee members, Michael Le Feuvre, Richard Campbell, and Lyle Nicholson, were there for the presentation

Introducing Groups

We are building a community at Kelowna Nordic - one group, post, newsletter at a time.

Introducing groups. A Group is a forum hosted on Kelowna Nordic that enables members to share experiences, ask questions and post to other members with the same interests.

You will need to sign up for the Kelowna Nordic website first before joining a group. Signup instructions are here.

We have set up the following groups so far:

• Carpooling - arrange carpooling with other members.

• Ski Reports - share ski experiences

• Snowshoeing - share snowshoe adventures.

Note: There will also be private groups set up for various events. For example we have a group for members signed up for Masters Social ski lessons, Moonlight Snowshoe and Ski, etc.

Dec 17th Opening Day!

Kelowna Nordic Opening Day is this Sunday. Come celebrate with us at the Main Cabin. Join the fun decorating the cabin and enjoying hot drinks & ski/ snowshoe !

All the snowshoe trails are open.

Groomers will be busy grooming the XC trails from now until Sunday so on Sunday please check the grooming page / Nordic Pulse for what XC trails are open and groomed.

NOTE: The trails are in early season condition so ski with care.
